He is an evolving human being and an EDUcator dedicated to inspiring people, teams and organisations to express their humanities, believing in the power of education to transform the planet. Inspired by African Ubuntu Ethics and Generative Leadership, he works as a coach, group facilitator and speaker in Ubuntu Leadership programmes for leaders, teams and enterprises. 

President of the Ubuntu Leadership Academy in Latin America (ALU Latam), based in Lima (Peru), which is part of the Ubuntu Global Network, he also sits on the board of the Instituto Padre António Vieira (IPAV), an NGO based in Lisbon, Portugal.

He is an international coach trained by three different schools: ICI in Brazil, Integral Coaching Canada and Ontological Coaching by Newfield Network in Chile. In 2024, he completed training at the Institute of Generative Leadership in the USA. He also has an MBA from Babson College (USA) and a degree in Business Administration from FGV. And has various complementary training programmes for self-knowledge, including clowning and yoga. 

 Before dedicating himself to the development of leaders, teams and companies, he had more than 10 years' experience in multinationals such as Unilever, Philip Morris, Whirlpool, reaching the position of Marketing Director for Latin America at Johnson & Johnson, his last executive position.

A communicator with a passion for the potential of technology, he is active on social media, running "Edu's Talks". In 2015, he published his first book, "The Roots of Entrepreneurship", the second edition of which was published in 2020.
